Originally from the Cobourg area, Kady obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa and subsequently completed law school at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. Graduating from law school in 2013 in the top 5% of her class, Kady received awards for highest standing in Restitution and Commercial Law.
Kady articled at a small law firm in Toronto, which exclusively practises Family Law. Kady was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2014, at which time she returned to Cobourg to practise Family Law under the mentorship of Greg Kay. Kady is experienced in all areas of Family Law including negotiating and drafting domestic contracts, Family Court litigation, property division, custody and access, support issues and child protection proceedings.
Since 2016, Kady has acted as an agent for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, representing children and minor parents in custody and access disputes, child protection proceedings and adoptions.
Kady accepts a limited number of Legal Aid Certificates in the areas of Family Law and Child Protection.
In her personal time, Kady enjoys travelling, the outdoors and spending time with her family.
